New Spin off Blog!

I have been writing some things for my kids lately that talks to them about what I think is important in life. Some that have read them have told me that these writings may benefit others as well. Since it would be hard to manage this on the same blog, I will be posting them on a sister site, http://allthatiwantforyou.blogspot.com/ . It is also listed as the first link on this site. It will just be essays of these writings as I put them on paper. I hope that they will assist some of you that travel the same or similar path as I do. My intent is not to be preachy or all-knowing. It is just to let people close to me understand my thoughts on important life issues.

As always,
thanks for reading.
All my love,
Brian.

  2. When you say in the opening paragraph of the new site that "The prognosis for my disease lies somewhere between 6 months and 2 years."

Do you really believe that? As my Urologist first told me in February 2005; don't believe the statistics for this disease as they don't apply to you. Those statistics are 99.9% based on men who are 65 years and older. You are young, active and otherwise healthy. Glad I listened to him 63 months ago! I am not saying I expect to live long, or live to my normal life expectancy, what I am saying is I don't let the disease, the diagnosis or the statistics dictate any part of my fight and you shouldn'
t either! Just as every man reacts differently to the treatments, every man fights it differntly!

  3. I credit you with being so open about with what is going on in your life - Every case is different so lets all hope that you have some better results with your next round of treatment. It so sucks to have the short straw - but you know that and so does your family. Stepping Stones from one treatment to the next - I'd like to see Abilartone get approved much sooner for you and David.
